About FOSNNI

Flag Officer Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland (FOSNNI) is a Rear Admiral based at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde at Faslane. He is the Local Exercise Area Commander who has overall responsibility for deconflicting Naval activity in the Scottish Exercise Areas with both other Military users and with other Mariners. He discharges this responsibility through his staff in the Maritime Operations Centre at HMNB Clyde which is manned around the clock by the FOSNNI Duty Controller.
